I worked for KRNW-FM as an announcer in 1960-61. I was not paid, had to read from a prepared script, played only classical music and I know we had at least one listener; I pronounced "baroque" as "bare-oh-quay" one night and got a quick phone call! But I loved announcing and went on to become a voice-over announcer in NYC and now from my home back in Boulder using ISDN. Doug Eames then - now Doug Jeffers
